The Answer, to open for AC/DC on the Black Ice World Tour.

The Answer, are to open for AC/DC on the North American leg of their Black Ice World Tour.

"IRISH ROCK BAND 'THE ANSWER' TO OPEN FOR AC/DC'S BLACK ICE WORLD TOUR STARTING OCTOBER 28TH.

The Answer are proud to announce that they will be the opening act for the imminent North American leg of AC/DC's Black Ice World tour. The tour runs between the 28th October to the 31st of January, with highlights including dates at New York's Madison Square Garden on November 12th + 13th, and two shows at The Forum in Los Angeles on December the 6th and 8th. Prior to the AC/DC shows The Answer will be performing their New York debut at a CMJ show at The Crash Mansion on October 25th."

Lead singer Cormac Neeson said - "It is an honour and a privilege for The Answer to be offered the opportunity to support probably the greatest rock 'n' roll act on the planet. We are incredibly humbled."

The Answer from Northern Ireland, whose mammoth sound is often compared to Black Crowes and Free, has already been a support band for The Rolling Stones at huge open-air gigs in Belgrade (Serbia), and Dusseldorf (Germany), and The Who in Dublin (Ireland).

They've also been voted "Best New Band 2005" by Classic Rock Magazine.

"Rise" is as of today their only album, and it's absolutely worth checking out!!.
Album number 2 is on it's way, with 16 songs already been recorded at Seedy Underbelly Studio in Los Angeles
